The iconic 2025 Ford Mustang returns this year with a fresh take on high-performance capabilities for a modern muscle car. This flagship model is thrilling to drive and comes with more standard technology than ever before. Explore the bold style and sporty performance of this model to see why it’s time to upgrade to a new Mustang.
Bold Power Returns in the 2025 Ford Mustang
The new Mustang has three engines to choose from. The first powertrain, which is standard on the EcoBoost Fastback, is a 2.3-liter I4 motor that generates 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. All EcoBoost models are equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission for easy-breezy gear shifting on the road.
The Mustang GT models are outfitted with a more powerful 5.0-liter V8 motor that delivers 480 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque. This sport-inspired powertrain is matched with a six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching. The Mustang Dark Horse models have a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 motor, which has an output of 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. The Coyote engine is married to a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission.
Cabin Features
The 2025 Mustang has a standard single-zone climate control system on the base model, with upper trims outfitted with a standard dual-zone electronic automatic climate control system to maximize front-row comfort. Stylish cabin details include a leather-wrapped shift knob and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Upper trims have additional design elements like aluminum foot pedals and MyColor ambient interior lighting.
The front dash features a 12.4-inch digital cluster with an Information on Demand Message Center and standard access to Track Apps. This model has an Intelligent Access system and a push-button ignition for hassle-free vehicle entry and quick engine start-up without inserting a physical key. The SYNC 4 infotainment suite is installed on a 13.2-inch central touchscreen and comes with a standard Wi-Fi hotspot via FordPass Connect.
Safety Technology
This sporty model comes with standard safety software, such as Pre-Collision Assist, which can identify frontal collisions and engage the emergency brakes to mitigate an accident. Lane-keeping technology tracks visible lane markers to prevent drifting into neighboring traffic lanes. This model also has rear parking sensors and a standard rearview camera to improve parking precision and prevent rear-end accidents when exiting a parking space.
Exterior Features
The Mustang has standard LED projector headlights, which are designed to project bright white light further down the road, LED signature lighting, and configurable daytime running lights. The sporty performance of the refreshed Mustang can be enhanced with optional racing stripes on the hood, roof, and side body panels.
The Ford Mustang continues to impress drivers with sport-tuned powertrain options, track-inspired design elements, and advanced safety software. Test drive this flagship muscle car at Gray-Daniels Ford in Brandon, MS.
